The Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA), in collaboration with the Research Committee, successfully conducted the fifth workshop in its student academic development series, titled “Research Methodology & Research Paper Writing”, on 19th June 2026 at the VIP Hall, NIIBS.
The workshop was organized for final-year students of all faculties with the objective of enhancing their knowledge and skills in research methodology and academic research practices. The session was conducted by Dr. Manoj Jinadasa, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Kelaniya, and provided valuable insights into the research process, research design, data collection methods, and effective academic writing.
The programme was attended by final-year students representing all faculties and served as an important initiative in strengthening their research competencies and preparing them for future academic and professional endeavors.
