The scope of the Capital Works and Maintenance Department is to properly maintain the services of the institution. The said services are ensure that all necessary equipment, pump rooms, air-conditioning plants, water treatment plants, sewerage treatment plants and main panel rooms always running with efficiency. Further Maintenance Dept also responsible for maintaining building standards, institution safety procedures such as maintaining fire fighting system etc and internal and external cleaning of the institution and maintaining gardens.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure all machinery in working standard.
Adherence of all maintenance work and staff to the engineering standards & and procedures.
Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
Ensuring safety policies on the premises.
Asses & Control repair schedules and repair costs.
Maintenance of inventories.
Planning required further development and budgeting.
Manage engineering store.
Manage relationships with other service providers.
