The Orientation Program for the 2026 intake of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree Programme, conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Nāgānanda International Institute of Buddhist Studies, was successfully held on 5th April at the C1 Building.
The event was graced by several distinguished members of the academic community, including Prof. P. B. Mandawala (Dean, FHSS), Mr. Senaka Senevirathna (Head of the Department), Ms. Ishari Dilmini (Lecturer in Applied Archaeology), Dr. Ashoka Karunaratne (Academic Consultant), Ms. Ishani Udeshika(Assistant Librarian), along with visiting lecturers in Anthropology, Dr. Kanishka Wijayaratne, Mr. Amila Nuwan and Ms. Chathurangani Amarakoon.
The ceremony was also attended by the academic and administrative staff of FHSS, as well as Senior students from both Sinhala and English medium programmes.
