The Inaugural Ceremony for the Admission of New Students to the 6th Batch of the 40-day Japanese Language Residential Training Camp

The inaugural ceremony for the admission of new students to the 6th batch of the 40-day Japanese Language Residential Training Camp, jointly organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS) and the Daichi Japanese Language Centre, was held on the 15th of this month at the Mezzanine Hall of the main auditorium of our institute.

The event, which was held under the patronage of the Coordinator to the Vice-Chancellor, Ven. Sooriyawewa Sumedha Thero, was graced by the presence of the following guests: Dr. Kumburugoda Are Pannaloka Thero, Senior Lecturer of the Anuradhapura Bhikkhu University, Professor Gamini Ratnasiri, Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and Senior Lecturer Venerable Dr. Panamure Chandima Thero, Senior Lecturer of the Daichi Japanese Language Centre. A group of people participated.
