A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Daichi Japanese Language Institute and the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS).
We are delighted to announce the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Daichi Japanese Language Institute and Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies. The event was held on February 13, 2025, at the premises of NIIBS, marking an important milestone in fostering academic partnerships in Japanese Language Studies, facilitating knowledge exchange, and promoting Japanese Language Studies.
The MOU signing was graced by distinguished individuals, including the Ven. Panamure Chandima Thero, the Director of the Daichi Japanese Language Institute, and Mr. Huxley Perera, as well as Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, the Vice-Chancellor of NIIBS, Ven. Pasgoda Sumiththa Thero, the Head of the Language Department, Ven. Sooriyawewa Sumedha Thero, the Coordinator to vice -Chancellor, Prof. P.B. Mandawala, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of NIIBS, Mr. W.D. Senaka Senevirathna, the Director of Centre Internal Quality Assurance, Mr. R.A. Piyaratna, the Registrar of NIIBS and the Lecturers of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of NIIBS. Their presence symbolized the mutual commitment and shared vision between our two esteemed institutions.
