Organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies was successfully held on 16th of November 2025 in the Mezzanine floor of the NIIBS, presided over by a large group of distinguished guests.
Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thero, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the NIIBS participated in the inauguration ceremony as the Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Nishantha Sampath Punchihewa, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo (UoC), made the keynote address as the guest of honour. The Conference Chair, Prof. Prashantha B Mandawala, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who made the welcome address. The theme of this year’s conference was “Innovative Crossroads: Integrating Knowledge across Disciplines for Sustainable Futures”.
