The International Research Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches (IRCIA 2024) organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies was successfully held on the 31st of August 2024 in the Mezzanine floor of the NIIBS presided over by a large group of distinguished guests.
Ven. Dr. Bodagma Chandima Thero, Vice-Chancellor of the NIIBS participated in the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest. Snr. Prof. Pathmalal M Manage, Vice Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura made the keynote address as the guest of honour. The Conference Chair, Prof. Prashantha B Mandawala, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences who made the welcome address. The theme of this year’s conference was “Narratives of Resilience: Understanding, Adapting, and Thriving in a Changing World”.
