NIIBS Committees

The Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS) maintains a range of committees to support the effective administration, academic development, student welfare, quality assurance, and overall institutional activities of the Institute. Each committee is responsible for specific areas of operation and contributes to maintaining academic standards, promoting good governance, and creating a supportive environment for students and staff.

These committees address areas including quality assurance, finance, research, library services, student welfare, procurement, information and web services, hostel administration, security and other academic and administrative matters. Through the coordinated work of these committees, NIIBS continues to strengthen its institutional processes and support the achievement of its academic and organizational objectives.

  • Quality Assurance CommitteeThis is functioned to scrutinize all quality matters of academic activities as per the UGC circulars.
  • Cleaning and Security CommitteeCleaning & Security Progress are discussed at this Committee.
  • Finance CommitteeAll financial matters & financial disciplines are discussed at this committee.
  • Student Appeal CommitteeIssues of the students are discussed at this committee.
  • Canteen CommitteeCleanliness and Foods Availability of the canteen are checked regularly for the students & staff.
  • Web CommitteeThis committee is scrutinized on the current situation on our website of NIIBS. All information are included to the web regularly.
  • Study Leave CommitteeStudy leave for academics is monitored at this committee.
  • Library CommitteeThis committee will look into books and other Academic matters.
  • Procurement CommitteeTo purchase items for NIIBS through the procurement committee.
  • Student Welfare CommitteeThis committee will look into all welfare matters for students.
  • Research CommitteeThis committee considers the research done by all academics.
  • Hostel CommitteeThis committee has meted-out criteria for allocation of rooms for Students. It is prepared to policy.
  • Corporate and Action Plan Preparation CommitteeAnnually, the Corporate Plan is prepared through this committee.
